Another year, another successful Three Peaks Challenge for Mamelani Movers!
We are eternally grateful to Steven, Isaac, Chantelle, Jim, Harry and Gavin who dedicated their K-Way Three Peaks Challenge to Mamelani Projects. These incredible individuals managed to raise just over R21 000 and we cannot thank them and their supporters enough.
A special shout out to Steven Anderson who raised over R10 000 and who persisted through the race despite experiencing some challenges, “The run went well – better than I’d expected – happy just to have finished without any pulled or torn muscles! Lion’s Head was tough as I was cramping on the ridge just before the summit, at times when I started to feel ‘battle weary’ I thought of those who had contributed to Mamelani and realised that pulling out of the race was just not an option”.
A massive Mamelani thank you to the Three Peaks organisers for partnering with us again this year. Special thanks to Gavin Snell, the co-organiser, and to all the runners! All the funds you raised will go directly to supporting our youth programme.
